David Manuel Gomez, 61, passed away peacefully on August 9, 2023, at his home in Easthampton. Born in Springfield, David was the son of Ildefonso Luis Gomez, Ph.D., and Adelina S. (Stoyanovich) Gomez, Ph.D.
David graduated from Longmeadow High School and received an associate degree in engineering from Holyoke Community College before moving to the Northampton area for most of his life.
Along with his parents, he leaves behind his siblings, Adelina, Elvira, Luis, Carlos and Victor, as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
A private burial, to be attended by family and friends, will be held at Springfield Cemetery. Please contact a family member by September 15th for details.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary’s Church in Longmeadow.
