Edith Mary Gibson, 79, received her Wings on February 7, 2025. Born in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Alexander & Jeannette (Gauthier) Gibson.


Edith dedicated her life to her loving family with warmth, understanding, and unconditional love. She had an incredible way of making everyone feel cherished and happy!


Edith leaves three sisters, Dorothy Levesque, Margaret Pellerin, and Patricia Adams, beloved nieces & nephews, Jeanne, Raymond, Michele, Dodie, Jacquelyn, and John, cherished grand nieces & nephews, Justina, Hillary, Brett, Joey, Kurt, Lauren, Kaitlynn, and Thomas, and her adored great-grand niece & nephew, Renee Leigh and Bentley Ray.


Along with her parents she was predeceased by her brothers, Thomas & Raymond Gibson, brother-in-law, Ray Pellerin, and niece, Renee Pellerin.


A heartfelt thank you goes out to John Nai, all were Blessed to have had him in Edith’s life.


Edith’s 10 a.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated for all to attend on Wednesday, February 19that St. Michael’s Cathedral in Springfield. Her burial at St. Michael’s Cemetery will be private.
