Katherine Marie Lampro, 70, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2025, in Dade City, Florida. Born in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Albert & Florence (Brunelle) Lampro.
Kathy loved her family and her favorite holiday was Christmas. You could find her decorating a Christmas tree in July and wearing Christmas clothes all year-round adorned with many pieces of jewelry. Kathy always loved a good joke; whether hearing one or telling one, her infectious laugh was enjoyed by all. She also liked sharing a good cup of tea and going to parades.
Along with her parents, Kathy was predeceased by her brother, John J. Lampro, Sr. & wife Maryann, and niece, Lisa Lampro. She leaves her sister, Brenda Hartley & husband Gerry, nephews, John Lampro & wife Jennifer, and Mark Lampro & wife Chastity, along with many beloved grand & great-grand nieces and nephews.
Kathy’s wake will be Thursday, February 20th, from 9-10 a.m. at Tazzini Funeral Home, 22 Locust Street in Springfield, proceeding to her burial at Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
